Scientific Adviser, Product Stewardship, IMA-Europe, European Industrial Minerals Association
Celia Gryspeirt is Scientific Adviser for the Industrial Minerals Association (IMA-Europe), where she works on health & safety and product stewardship, with a particular focus on chemical policy. Her function includes the coordination of advocacy actions and European dossiers for different mineral sections, notably on CLP, REACH, Biocides and food/feed/food contact materials.
She holds a Master degree in Chemistry from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (BE) and a Master of Intellectual Property and ICT Law from the KULeuven (BE).
IMA-Europe is an umbrella organisation providing sector-based representation for industrial minerals. It brings together several European associations specific to individual minerals as Calcium Carbonates, Bentonite, Borates, Diatomite, Feldspar, Kaolin, Lime, Plastic Clays, Silica and Talc.
